It was such a joy to visit Thompson Cancer Survival Center in downtown Knoxville this week with Coach Fulmer, Todd Kelly Jr. and Evina Westbrook! We visited with patients, they signed footballs and we hand delivered VOL-themed hats to patients. What a once in a lifetime surprise for so many patients. We're so honored Coach Fulmer, Todd and Evina would take time out of their schedule to come serve alongside 818 Ministries.

"It's important for us to get out in the community as much as we can and show our warmth. We are appreciative of being invited today." - Coach Fulmer
This week, of all weeks, it's GREAT to be a Tennessee Vol - Go Big Orange!
Yesterday was the best day ever! We took 9 University of Tennessee nursing students along to an Impact Squad visit at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in Atlanta, GA where we got to dress up and hand deliver hats to all of their families. The Lord really used this time to encourage families and leave them with a sweet gift - made by YOU!
We are so grateful for all of our volunteers who give of their time, talent and creativity in a way that honors Jesus and points patients fighting serious illnesses to Him!
It was INCREDIBLE to meet and finally get to spend time with our rockstar volunteer Alice Batchelor (who lives very close to Atlanta). She has been with us since the very beginning. It was a special time to get to watch her give away her hats that she pours her creativity into!
To see a sneak peek at an Impact Squad visit and meet Alice, check out our full recap video below (which may or may not include putting on wigs inside a Panera Bread). Enjoy!
Cheering for you,
