Materials Needed: Any type of soft yarn, color of your choice Crochet Hook G Abbreviations: st = stitch sc = single crochet dc = double crochet Make a slip knot and chain two st. Sc 6 st into the second st from your hook. Row 1: Sc 2 times in each st ( = 12 stitches). Row 2: Sc 2 times in the first stitch, sc in the next st, repeat for the rest of the row. Row 3: Repeat above. Sc in the round until your octopus body measures around 4 inches. It will start to resemble a tiny hat! Then, stuff the "mini-hat" with poly fill! To taper the body down and finish it, sc and then skip a stitch until you have no st left! Tie it off and your body is complete. To make the tentacles of the octopus, make a slip knot and chain 20 st. Do 3 dc st in each of the 20 st (only one row)! Very quickly you will start to see the tentacle curl on about the 5-6th stitch. Make several more tentacles (the example I have shown I made quickly with 4 tentacles) and attach them to the bottom of the body of your octopus. And then...your octopus is complete! Please ship to:
